Title: Neuroception and Occupation
Aim: The aim of my presentation will be to educate on how to view clients through the polyvagal lens and to promote safety and social engagement through occupation.
Learning objectives: Understand the basic principles of Polyvagal Theory. Understand behavior as a normal response to trauma. Apply trauma-informed interventions to promote regulation.

I am a recent graduate from UNC-Chapel Hill and an Occupational Therapist, Certified Trauma Professional, and Peer Support Specialist practicing in Mental Health in the U.S. I also live with PTSD, MDD, and nightmare disorder
