Samanther Jefferies

Samanther Jefferies is a senior specialist Occupational Therapist in the UK. She started as a social therapist within forensic mental health. From there, she worked within the field of mental health, recovery, assessment, treatment and well-being services in NHS and charity sectors. In 2014, she set up as an independent occupational therapist.

Aims:

To demonstrate how an Occupational Therapist would think and do in relation to using occupations for life to maintain function during difficult life situations.

To use the KAWA Model to gain a holistic picture of the case study (aka me), sailing through grief.

Learning Objectives:

How to use a case study to gain an in-depth analysis of a lived experience.

How an Occupational therapist would be in these situations and life events.
